Careers at Little Blue Door

Work that
actually
matters.

We're a small team that believes the best work comes from people who treat every detail like it matters.

Skills can be taught.
These can’t.

WHAT WE HIRE FOR

We look for qualities that no job listing can create.

Ownership You don't wait to be told what needs doing. If something is out of place or a family needs help, you act — because it's everyone's job here.
Intentionality You think before you act. You understand why we do things the way we do, and you uphold that standard even on the hard days.

Genuine warmth You make people feel welcome before they even say hello. Families notice and remember how they were made to feel — not what was on the schedule.
Detail orientation You notice the small things — the misaligned cushion, the child who needs a little extra reassurance, the parent who looks like they need a calm moment.
Calm under pressure Kids are unpredictable. Families are busy. You bring steadiness into the space, not anxiety. You can redirect and reset without losing your warmth.

Love of children Not just tolerance — genuine delight. You see the world with curiosity because you remember what it felt like to be small and full of wonder.
